Biobased Certified Fleet Professional (BCFP)®
Biobased Academy® is a certification program offered by the American Lung Association in partnership with the United Soybean Board. This program offers a comprehensive training course that highlights biobased fleet products that are renewable and perform as well or better than many traditional alternatives, with a focus on soy-biobased products.
There are 12 modules in total, each followed by a module quiz and culminating with a comprehensive final exam. After passing the final exam, comprised of questions from the twelve course modules, each participant will receive a signed certificate designating them as a Biobased Certified Fleet Professional (BCFP)®.
Certified professionals will have a firm understanding of how and why biobased products are safe, renewable, and reliable alternatives to petroleum-based products that improve operational, health, safety, and environmental performance. Certified professionals will also understand the type and variety of biobased products available and how to obtain them.
